Using change data capture to stream data from legacy systems

Data from legacy systems can be very useful when building modern microservice applications. During this talk, Floris Smit, a Xomnia data engineer, explains a streaming architecture with Apache Kafka and Change Data Capture. By streaming changes from legacy systems to Kafka, new applications can use the legacy data. This enables a modern microservice architecture to coexist with legacy apps and even replace functionality.
