Recurrent neural networks
How many languages do you speak? Two, three? Regardless of your answer, there will always be more languages you don’t speak. Especially organizations that operate internationally will encounter language barriers: survey data in various languages, important documents that need to be translated for a meeting, the list goes on. Machine translation is invaluable in enabling efficient communciation and utilizing text datasets in all languages.
This course will jump straight to the state of the art: neural networks excel at understanding written and spoken language, and the introduction of recurrent neural networks gave this approach another boost. In this course, you will learn how neural networks can be applied to text data. At the end of the course, you will be able to use PyTorch to build a machine translation model.
Requirements: The course assumes a basic knowledge of (recurrent) neural networks.
