Combining the X and Omnia you get the Xomnia spirit. Eager, curious and dedicated people, who have the belief that the future is big data.
Kubernetes is at the center of many cloud-based applications, and for good reason: with the ability to automatically manage and scale containerized applications, it fully lives up to it’s buzzword status. It goes hand in hand with Docker, which contains the applications, to form the foundation for stable and secure deployment.
During this course, you will learn how to use Kubernetes at a basic level. The course will take you from your hello world, to making (micro) services work together, to finally exposing services to the internet. At the end of the course, you’ll be able to deploy your containerized applications at scale.
Requirements: The course requires familiarity with Linux basics and bash scripting, and also basic knowledge of Docker. Some affinity with application development and deployment is also required.
