Building web apps for Data Scientists

Web-apps are a popular way of delivering business insights, for example in the form of dashboards. These insights could be forecasted sales figures, real-time statistics about all your branches, or personalized recommendations for the visitors of your website. The ability to build web apps gives data scientists an important tool to deliver the value of data to the business.

In this course, you will learn how to build a simple yet beautiful web app using HTML and Bootstrap CSS. You will gain hands-on experience with writing JavaScript (JQuery) that calls a simple API, which may serve your predictive model, and how to perform basic client-side operations on JSON data. You will become familiar with the basic concepts of web development, such as the Document Object Model.
