Command Line Interface (CLI), basic UNIX tools such as ls, cd, mkdir, grep, awk, sed, etc.; course focused on bash (accessible when installing Git Bash, or within Jupyter).

Learning goals

Knowing the philosophy and reflexes of the command line. What it is used for? What can it do? (and not panicking when needing it) Knowing the definition of arguments, flags. Navigating and interacting with a filetree on a distant server, using command line editor and tools to access files and modify them (edit and submit a job on a cluster for instance, concatenate files before ETL, extract data from files too big to be handled in-memory with Pandas, ...).
